About Jig

Part production studio.
Part creative consultancy.

Jig is a video production studio and creative consultancy based in Saskatoon. Half of what we do helps you craft compelling stories with masterful imagery. The other half helps you thoughtfully incorporate AI into your brand and storytelling. We build automated systems that are optimized for the future.

Content built around outcomes

Our goal goes further than making beautiful films. Curiosity is one of our values, because the only way to understand the vision of a collaborator is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and build from there. We design campaigns end-to-end, with measurable outcomes in mind.

AI-integrated, human-centred

We use AI to boost productivity in our workflows, never to replace creativity. AI helps a small team stay organized and hyper-efficient without sacrificing the craft. Every piece of work that ships is executive-produced by the Jig team.

A team that shows up as partners

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We won't shy away from championing our ideas. We also won't hold back from championing the vision of our partners. Working together means we care as much about the outcome as you do.

Rooted in Saskatchewan

We understand the region, the climate, the culture. We're not parachuting in. We're close by and committed to the long game. We've worked with Indigenous organizations, cooperatives, tourism boards, and major resource companies across Saskatchewan and beyond.

The team

The people behind the work.

Frank Davalos

Frank Davalos

Founder · Head of Innovation & Strategy

Frank is the founder of Jig. He spent nearly 15 years in communications, marketing, and public affairs at companies like BHP, The Mosaic Company and CAA. Throughout his career, he has worked with brands like Disney, ArchDaily, Air Canada, and WestJet. Frank also leads Jig's AI work, designing the automations and custom systems that help clients move more efficiently. Canadian with Chilean roots, Frank was born in Moose Jaw and now lives in Saskatoon with his wife and three young kids.

Chad Reynolds

Chad Reynolds

Partner · Head of Creative & Community

Chad is Jig's Creative Director, with over 15 years of experience in film and production. He's worked with The Amazing Race Canada and National Geographic, as well as brands like Destination Canada, BHP, Bauer Hockey, SaskTel, and Crest/Oral-B. Before moving fully into film & commercial production, Chad studied Urban Planning and worked as a marketing manager in both retail and tourism. Chad loves thinking extremely big picture while obsessing over the minutia. He's also a musician, and his films often carry that sensibility: rhythm, pacing, structure, and a soundtrack that does real work.

Erik Olson

Erik Olson

Head of Production

Erik is Jig's Head of Production, a Saskatchewan-based cinematographer, editor, and photographer. He has contributed to work for some of Canada's largest companies, with a storytelling approach that's grounded, intentional, and people-focused. At Jig his role spans cinematography, photography, design, and post-production, guiding projects from concept through final delivery. Erik grew up in the Battlefords, which means his sense of the province isn't borrowed. It shows up in the way he frames a shot and the time he takes to get it right.
